Alam semula jadi bukan sekadar latar kehidupan, tetapi warisan hidup yang harus dipelihara. Namun, dengan kemerosotan hutan dan tekanan terhadap sungai yang semakin ketara, keperluan untuk melindungi khazanah semula jadi ini tidak lagi boleh diabaikan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Usaha kami berteraskan keyakinan bahawa kesejahteraan alam sekitar dan manusia adalah saling berkait. Ini termasuk projek yang berjaya mengalihkan lebih 27 tan sisa plastik daripada tapak pelupusan melalui inisiatif di sekolah dan komuniti, memulihkan 41 hektar hutan dengan penanaman pokok bakau dan spesies tempatan, serta memperkukuh agenda pembangunan lestari Malaysia di platform antarabangsa seperti Konvensyen Rangka Kerja Perubahan Iklim PBB COP29.<\/p>

Pernah menjadi mangsa pemburuan haram, Itam si Beruang Matahari Borneo kini diberi peluang kedua untuk hidup di Pusat Konservasi Beruang Matahari Borneo, bersama lebih 40 ekor beruang matahari lain yang telah diselamatkan di pusat tersebut.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Perjalanan hidup Itam, daripada pengalaman trauma akibat pertemuan dengan manusia, diselamatkan, dan kini dilepaskan semula ke habitat semula jadi, mencerminkan usaha besar dalam menyelamatkan spesies beruang terkecil di dunia daripada kepupusan. Menerusi inisiatif MareCet, para nelayan ini menggunakan alat inovatif yang dikenali sebagai \u201cpingers\u201d untuk mengelakkan mamalia marin daripada terperangkap dalam jaring mereka sekali gus melindungi hidupan liar dan sumber rezeki mereka sendiri. Perkongsian yang menginspirasikan ini membuktikan bahawa komuniti dan pencinta alam boleh bekerjasama untuk mewujudkan lautan yang lebih sihat, sekali gus menunjukkan bahawa amalan perikanan lestari adalah mungkin apabila penyelesaiannya datang dari dalam komuniti itu sendiri.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
