Arts & Public Spaces

Arts, heritage, and public spaces are not luxuries — they are living expressions of who we are as Malaysians. Their vitality depends upon the arts being practiced and made accessible to all.

This ethos came to life through the revival the heritage textile Telepuk that is now gaining a global audience via an English-language book and royal recognition, with the patronage of Selangor Royals.

Meanwhile, Arts for All Seasons (ArtsFAS) expanded its repertoire to visual arts, short films and poetry. Audience also grew from 88,290 in 2023 to over 112,599.

It is our aim to safeguard the arts and heritage not as static relics, but as living legacies and spaces where culture is a shared, breathing part of everyday life.
