Education

Every child learns, dreams, and grows differently. Yet too often, their paths are shaped by circumstances, not potential. And we want to change that.

Whether it’s bringing science and technology to under-resourced classrooms, reimagining support for diverse learners, or mentoring youths at critical life junctures, we are committed to shaping an education landscape where no young person is left behind for lack of opportunity or guidance.

By nurturing minds, supporting mental well-being, and expanding access to opportunity, we aim to cultivate not just a workforce, but a generation of thoughtful, creative, and compassionate individuals ready to shape the future with purpose and conviction.

Abbernaa: From Classical Dance to Policy Research

Abbernaa’s journey is one of intellect, resilience, and cultural pride. A Khazanah Global Scholar with a degree in Human Social Political Science from Cambridge, she is also a classically 5 trained Indian dancer—two worlds that rarely intertwine.

Now serving in Khazanah, she is navigating the complexities of policymaking while carrying the lessons of discipline and artistry from her dance training. Her story sheds light on the multifaceted nature of leadership and the personal sacrifices behind achieving one’s dreams.

JomBaca: Driving Learning Recovery, Reigniting Dreams for Our Children

The COVID-19 pandemic left a devastating impact on children’s education, with many struggling to foundational basic literacy and numeracy skills. JomBaca is stepping in to bridge this gap, not just teaching children to read, but reigniting their dreams and confidence in the classroom.

Through emotional stories of students and teachers, this initiative highlights the urgent need for educational resilience—proving that with the right support, an entire generation’s future can be rewritten. This programme is under the Program Anak Kita nationwide learning recovery initiative by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, driven by Yayasan Hasanah and Unit Pantau MADANI.
