What happens when your social good project comes to an end?
The session focused on practical ways to invest in grassroots leaders, and how their deep understanding of community needs can foster resilience, well-being, and long-term impact. Speaker shared on how by strengthening local capacity, the impact of a programme can sustain long after it officially comes to an end.

Breakthrough
Mental health advocates and educators spent the afternoon hearing from World Health Organisation award-winning psychiatrist and author Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hankir on his personal breakthroughs in advocating for mental health and wellness with the aim of building a more equitable and compassionate society.

Cash Transfers: The Malaysian Experience
This session presents key findings from the inaugural collaboration Discussion Paper entitled Cash Transfers: International Insights and The Malaysian Experience. Participants explored the complexities in designing cash transfer programmes and discussed learnings from managing relief during the Covid-19 pandemic and strategies to enhance the resilience of the nation’s social protection system.

Yayasan Khazanah Scholars ILMU Circle 2024
Through real-world examples and practical insights shared by the speakers, Khazanah scholars learned how effective leadership when applied in meaningful ways is a catalyst for both organisational success and societal transformation. The session examined how leadership, career resilience, and sustainable development intersect in today’s fast-evolving world.

The Evolution of Malaysian Literature
Following the evolution of Malaysian literature from traditional oral storytelling to modern works tackling identity, multiculturalism, and social justice, this session highlighted literature’s role in preserving culture, reflects on key authors and themes across eras, and examines how digital media shapes contemporary literary expression and cultural appreciation.

Asia Philanthropy Conference (APHIC) 2024
At this year’s congress, themed Working Together to Realize DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), Hasanah sat down with leaders, foundation, advocates and organisations across Asia to discuss philanthropy’s vital role in addressing regional social challenges and building inclusive societies through social investment and inter-sectoral partnerships.
Managing Director and Trustee Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki lead the panel discussion, “Age of Asia: Leading the Way in Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” Hasanah also joined the panel discussion on “The Catalytic Role of Philanthropy in Addressing Regional Challenges” organised by The Sasakawa Peace Foundation.
